Mutkin Residential and Community Care is a not-for-profit aged care organisation based in Yarrabah. We provide residential and home care services that promote choice, lifestyle and independence.

Our purpose is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people in our community, particularly older people, people living with dementia, their carers and others who may experience disadvantage.

About the Role

Working directly with clients in their homes & communities, you will provide practical, respectful and person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity and wellbeing.

Your duties may include:

• Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities

• Monitoring client wellbeing and reporting any changes or concerns

• Maintaining accurate service records

• Following individual care plans, workplace procedures and safe work practices

• Working respectfully with clients, families, carers and other service providers

• Casual positions available supporting older people to remain living independently within their own homes and communities.

• Monday to Friday roster with no regular weekend requirements.

• Applicants must possess a current driver's license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel within the service area.

• Opportunity to provide personal care, domestic assistance, social support, and wellbeing services to community clients.

• Experience in aged care, community care, disability support, or related sectors will be highly regarded.

• Commitment to person-centred care and supporting residents to maintain dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

• Relevant qualifications, experience, and a genuine passion for aged care are highly desirable.
