Turret punch/ brakepress operator

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work instructions prior to commencing tasks
• Fabricate sheet metal products in line with company workmanship standards
• Operate Turret Punch, Brake Press and Guillotine machinery
• Support other production areas as required, including Enclosure and Resistor Assembly
• Conduct daily safety checks and routine equipment maintenance, maintaining records
• Adhere to company quality systems and ISO standards (ISO 9001 & ISO 45001)
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace cleanliness
• Report safety, quality, or process risks to Team Leaders or Management
• Complete tasks as directed by the Team Leader or Production Manager
• Identify and suggest improvements to improve quality or reduce build times

About You

• Trade-qualified or experienced Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator
• Proven experience operating Turret Punch and Brake Press machines
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and drawings
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible across production areas
• Positive attitude and team-focused approach
