About the role

Bob's Barbershop is seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our team in Frankston, VIC. This is a full-time, Part time and Casual position.

As a Barber, you will be the cornerstone of our client experience, delivering exceptional grooming services whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and hygiene. This role is crucial to our reputation and success, as you will be building lasting relationships with our clients and representing the Bob's Barbershop brand every day.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a full range of barbering services including haircuts, beard trims, shaves and styling to clients

• Consult with clients to understand their grooming preferences and recommend appropriate services and products

• Maintain all tools and equipment in pristine condition and ensure sterilisation protocols are strictly followed

• Uphold high standards of personal hygiene and maintain a clean, welcoming barbershop environment

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients whilst actively welcoming new customers

• Manage client bookings and maintain accurate service records

• Stay current with the latest barbering techniques, trends and industry best practices

• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and support colleagues in delivering excellent customer service

What we're looking for

• A valid barbering qualification or apprenticeship completion recognised in Victoria

• Proven experience as a barber, ideally with a strong portfolio of work or client testimonials

• Proficiency in all traditional and modern barbering techniques including clipper work, scissor techniques and straight razor shaving

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele

• A meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering consistently high-quality results

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including sterilisation and hygiene standards required in the beauty services industry

• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic

A genuine passion for barbering and a desire to provide outstanding customer service
