We are excited about the soon to be opened Italian restaurant in Water Gardens and we are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team and be part of this exciting new venture.

We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for Italian cuisine, takes pride in their food and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who enjoys a fast-paced kitchen environment and wants to be involved from the beginning of our opening.

You will be responsible for helping deliver consistently high-quality Italian food while maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience preparing and cooking Italian cuisine
• Is confident working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Can work calmly and efficiently under pressure
• Is a strong team player who works well with others
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills
• Takes pride in presentation, quality and consistency
• Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
• Is willing to be hands-on and assist with all kitchen tasks when required
• Is prepared to lead by example and contribute positively to the team
• Has a genuine passion for food and creating great Italian dishes
• Understands the importance of food safety, cleanliness and kitchen hygiene

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Preparing and cooking authentic, high-quality Italian dishes
• Assisting with menu preparation and maintaining consistent food standards
• Working efficiently during busy service periods
• Supporting and working collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
• Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen
• Assisting with food preparation, stock control and ordering when required
• Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained
• Helping with all kitchen duties as part of a hands-on team
