Every day you’ll help apprentices develop the practical skills, technical knowledge and confidence they’ll carry throughout their careers.
You’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering engaging practical and classroom-based training
• Assessing student competency and providing constructive feedback
• Supporting apprentices throughout their learning journey
• Maintaining strong industry relevance within training programs
• Helping students develop the skills, confidence and professionalism needed for successful careers

You’ll be supported by an experienced education team, with teaching resources, mentoring and professional development available to help you transition into the role if you’re new to teaching.
This role would suit someone who takes pride in their trade, enjoys sharing their knowledge and wants to help shape the next generation of electricians.
Ideally, you’ll have:

• A current Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence
• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
• Recent industry experience as a qualified electrician
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) is required
• Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and support others
• A genuine passion for developing the future electrical workforce

Previous teaching experience is welcomed but certainly not essential. If you’ve supervised apprentices, trained junior electricians or enjoy passing on your knowledge, you’ll already have many of the skills needed to succeed.
