ICT Field Services Support Coord

• Competitive remuneration ranging from $116,981 to $129,492 plus super & annual leave loading.

Are you experienced in coordinating ICT support services across multiple sites and technologies?

The ICT Field Services Support Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring NSW Public Schools and Departmental Offices receive reliable, high-quality on-site and remote ICT support—focused on incident resolution and the ongoing adoption and maintenance of standard ICT services.

You will manage the efficient scheduling and allocation of ICT resources to deliver support in line with departmental standards, policies, and operating procedures. Your day-to-day impact includes diagnosing and resolving incidents, ensuring standard ICT services are maintained, and helping stakeholders get the most from departmental ICT solutions.

About you

• Coordinate on-site and remote ICT support across NSW schools and dapartmental offices, including diagnosis and resolution of incidents.
• Ensure adoption and ongoing maintenance of standard ICT services aligned with departmental requirements.
• Povide practical advice and guidance to principals, managers, and staff on effective use of standard ICT services
• Resolve technical issues escalated by other team members to support timely issue closure
• Monitor and report team member utilisation to inform customers of field support availability
• Deliver services to a large, geographically dispersed customer base using a diverse range of technologies
• Travel across NSW to engage stakeholders with varying ICT skills and experiencs
• Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements of the role

• A current and valid NSW Working with children check for paid employment.
• Current and valid Driver's Licence with good driving record.
• Willingness and ability to undertake short-term travel across but not limited to the assigned area of responsibility.
• Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

2. Tell us about a time you were responsible for maintaining or improving an integrated ICT service across multiple sites within a large and geographically challenging support area. How did you plan and prioritise the work, what resources and stakeholders did you draw on, and how did you ensure continuity of service? What was the outcome? (300 words max.)
