Trades Assistant / Labourer

Our family owned and operated company offers an onsite general maintenance, breakdown and shutdown service (including crushing equipment and servicing), for various Quarries mainly located within the SE QLD area. Our office and workshop are located in Beerwah.

Due to an increased workload we are looking to expand our great team with trade assistants / labourers who value safety, quality, professionalism and enjoy working in a busy environment which can be different every day.

We are looking for someone who:

• has experience working on different job sites (Quarry experience would be of benefit)

• are self motivated and follow instructions well

• have a can do attitude and enjoy problem solving

• can work regular overtime / weekends as required

• can work away from home for up to 1 week as required from time to time

As a minimum we require someone with:

• General Construction Induction (White Card)

• Current manual driver's licence

• Must be willing to undertake a Respiratory Health Surveillance Medical as required for all QLD Mineral Mine and Quarry workers from 01/09/2022.

In this role you will be assisting our Boilermakers to service / repair a range of plant and equipment on various quarry sites throughout SE QLD, which may include basic welding and fabrication tasks if confident to do so.

Remuneration will be negotiated with the successful applicants, based on experience and qualifications.
