chef/ Pizzaiolo

Il Padrinos Pizza and Pasta are seeking a reliable and experienced Chef to join our Italian Pizza and Pasta restaurant offering dine in and takeaway. This is a full-time role for the right candidate and is ideal for someone with strong experience in preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality Italian dishes, especially pasta and pizza.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present a range of Italian dishes, including pasta, pizza, sauces, and other menu items.
Hand-stretch, prepare, and cook pizza dough and toppings to a consistent standard.
Prepare fresh pasta dishes and sauces while maintaining quality, taste, and presentation.
Work efficiently during busy service periods in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen organisation.
Assist with stock control, food preparation, and minimizing waste.
Work cooperatively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Position Requirements

Previous experience as a Chef, Cook, Pizza Chef, or Pasta Chef in a restaurant or commercial kitchen environment.
Experience in Italian cuisine, pizza preparation, or pasta cooking is highly regarded.
Ability to work full-time, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays if required.
Reliable, punctual, organised, and able to work under pressure.
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $96,000.00 per year
