Italian Chef

We're looking for a passionate, reliable Chef to join our close-knit kitchen team. You'll help us maintain the consistency and quality that's kept customers coming back for over 25 years, while bringing your own energy and ideas to the pass.

You'll be responsible for:

• Preparing and cooking authentic Italian dishes — pasta, pizza, risotto, seafood mains, and classic desserts — to a consistently high standard

• Making fresh pasta and sauces daily using traditional methods

• Working the pizza oven and grill stations during busy dinner and weekend service

• Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards

• Managing stock, ordering, and minimising waste

• Supporting and mentoring junior kitchen staff

• Contributing ideas to specials and seasonal menu updates

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience as a chef or cook, ideally in an Italian or similar restaurant kitchen

• Confidence with pasta-making, pizza, and risotto

• A strong work ethic and the ability to stay calm and organised during busy dinner and weekend services

• A team player with good communication skills

• Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

• Right to work in Australia
