About the role

Express Garden and Home Services Pty Ltd is seeking a Professional Cleaner to join our growing team in Newcastle, NSW. This is a part-time or casual position offering flexibility and the opportunity to be part of a reputable cleaning services provider. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across a variety of residential and commercial properties. Your work will have a direct impact on client satisfaction and the reputation of Express Garden and Home Services Pty Ltd.

What you'll be doing

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, mopping and sanitising of residential properties amongst our NDIS, AgedCare, DVA and Private clientele.

• Follow established cleaning protocols and schedules to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.

• Use cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively, maintaining proper handling and storage procedures.

• Inspect cleaned areas to ensure all tasks have been completed to the required standard.

• Report any maintenance issues or damage observed during cleaning to management.

• Manage time effectively to complete cleaning assignments within allocated timeframes.

• Maintain professional appearance and conduct when interacting with clients.

• Support the team by communicating any concerns or feedback regarding cleaning schedules or client requirements.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in cleaning services, either in residential or commercial environments, or proven ability to learn quickly.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

• Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work part-time hours consistently.

• Physical capability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift heavy items as required.

• Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.

• Good communication skills and a professional, courteous attitude when dealing with clients.

• Willingness to use and maintain cleaning equipment and products safely.

• A current drivers licence and access to reliable transport to travel between clients is essential.
