The Membership Data Administrator is responsible for overseeing new member applications and business change requests, ensuring compliance with HIA’s Constitution, By-Laws, policies and procedures. This role supports the National Membership Administration team by maintaining accurate membership data, assisting with administrative processes, and delivering a high standard of customer service to all key stakeholders.
The Membership Data Administrator is responsible for verifying data for all new member applications, ensuring all required checks are completed in accordance with HIA’s policies and procedures. This includes assisting with business change requests, licence updates and other data-related requirements.
The Membership Data Administrator:Carries out daily activation checks for new members to ensure mandatory data is collected.Conducts ABN and licence checks with relevant regulatory bodies in each state.Assigns and follows up tasks with regional staff to ensure missing data is captured within required timeframes.Provides weekly reports to regions on approved members and members requiring further follow-up.Assists with business change requests.Assists with business changes and updates, including completing the required checks in line with new membership application requirements.Maintains and updates the membership database to improve data quality and resolve data entry issues.Corrects identified errors and deficiencies in membership data.Assists with the preparation and distribution of new member welcome packs.Prepares member verification letters, including vehicle verification letters and general membership verification letters.Manages invalid address data.Assists with maintaining Associate member data.Completes cross-training in Membership direct debit processes to provide coverage when staff are on leave.Reviews and updates the National Membership procedure document on an ongoing basis.Assists with training regional membership administration staff on new membership requirements.Provides other administrative support as required.
