Child Wellbeing Intake and Assessment Practitioner (SR0069)

• Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or a related discipline in accordance with Family Violence Reform Recommendation 209 requirements
• Demonstrated experience in child wellbeing and/or family violence is essential
• Sound knowledge of child development, child wellbeing frameworks and family-centred practice approaches
• Experience undertaking risk assessments and working with children, young people and families experiencing complex needs
• Understanding of the Best Interests Principles Framework and the ability to undertake child-focused assessment and planning
• Knowledge of cultural safety principles and experience working with diverse communities
• Experience within family violence services, integrated family services, child protection, community services or related settings
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and collaborative service environments
• Commitment to reflective practice, continuous improvement and delivering high-quality client outcomes
