About the opportunity
NSW Health Pathology is seeking Technical Specialists to support the Fusion Program, a major statewide digital health transformation delivering a single Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) across NSW Health Pathology. These temporary full-time roles will play a key part in preparing sites for go-live by supporting and deploying end-user devices, including PCs, monitors, barcode scanners, document and label printers, other ICT hardware and mobile devices. Responsibilities include conducting technical readiness audits and surveys, verifying network and port requirements, configuring and deploying devices, and testing equipment prior to implementation.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong technical troubleshooting, coordination and communication skills who enjoy practical, hands-on work within a collaborative project environment.
What you'll be doing
As part of Fusion Program, the Technical Specialist will work under the direction of the Technology Architect to support the implementation of ICT hardware, software and peripheral devices deployments associated with the implementation of the Statewide Laboratory Information Management System (SW LIMS).
Fusion is a comprehensive program of work that aims to standardise, streamline and integrate pathology services over the next five years.
