Customer Service & Sales Coordinator – Part Time

Location: Nambour, Sunshine Coast
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–2:00pm

Sunshine Coast Patio Specialists is looking for a confident, organised and proactive Customer Service & Sales Coordinator to manage our customer enquiries and sales pipeline.

We are a local Sunshine Coast business specialising in custom patios, carports and outdoor living projects. We generate a large number of enquiries through our website and online, and we need the right person to make sure every potential customer receives a prompt, professional and helpful response.

This is not a traditional reception or back-office administration role. A significant part of your day will involve speaking with potential customers - calling new leads, asking questions about their project, booking site visits, following up estimates and quotes, and nurturing customers who may not be ready to proceed immediately.

We can have hundreds of active leads at any one time, so you will be responsible for keeping our CRM organised, recording every interaction and scheduling future callbacks to ensure no genuine opportunity is forgotten.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Calling new website and online leads
• Responding promptly to incoming customer enquiries
• Asking questions to understand each customer’s project, needs and timeframe
• Qualifying potential customers and booking site visits
• Following up estimates, quotes and undecided customers
• Nurturing longer-term leads over several weeks or months
• Managing a large volume of active leads within our CRM
• Recording clear notes and scheduling the next action for every lead
• Responding to phone, email, website and social-media enquiries
• Maintaining an accurate and organised sales pipeline
• Supporting customers from their first enquiry through to acceptance
• Working closely with the owner and other team members to keep opportunities moving

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, confident and professional on the phone
• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls
• Naturally organised and able to manage a large number of conversations
• Persistent and comfortable contacting customers more than once
• Able to build rapport without sounding scripted or pushy
• Reliable and able to follow systems and processes
• Proactive and willing to take ownership of the sales pipeline
• Comfortable using computers, email, CRMs and online systems
• Able to write clear customer notes and accurately schedule future actions
• Positive, motivated and willing to learn about patios and carports

Experience in customer service, appointment setting, sales support, lead management or a phone-based role would be highly regarded. Construction experience is helpful but not essential.

Important

You must be comfortable spending a significant part of each day making outbound calls.

These are primarily warm leads who have contacted us or requested information; however, you will need to confidently call customers, ask questions and continue contacting them until there is a clear next step.

This role will not suit someone looking for a predominantly email-based, reception or back-office administration position.
