Mobile Crane Service Technician/Heavy Diesel Mechanic

We are a well-established Crane company seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic/ Mobile Crane Technician to join our growing company. 

The successful candidate will be working within a team and also the ability to work on their own.

Carrying out repairs, breakdowns and servicing of Heavy vehicles and Mobile Cranes. Eg Franna, Liebherr, Grove, Kobelco, Humma, M.A.N, Volvo and Isuzu.

Duties 

• Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical diagnosis

• Major and minor services

• Maintenance and component replacements

• Complete detailed service reports

• Maintain a professional profile, high quality, and Customer Service standards 

Skills & experience 

• Trade qualification in mechanical 

• Flexibility to travel to customer sites

• Excellent diagnostic and computer skills

• A current HR or HC driver’s license

• Able to communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and colleagues

• Willingness to work overtime/on call when required

• Previous experience working on Mobile Cranes is preferred however not essential

• Willingness to learn, with in house training
