Practice Nurse (RN)

Belair Medical is a well-established, privately owned General Practice located in the beautiful Adelaide Hills. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a friendly, supportive environment where our team genuinely enjoys coming to work.

This position is approximately 12 hours per week, with additional hours available to provide annual leave and sick leave cover.

About the Role

Working alongside our experienced GPs, nurses and administration team, you will play an integral role in delivering comprehensive primary health care services.

Your duties will include:

• Coordinating and preparing GP Management Plans and Team Care Arrangements (Care Plans)

• Assisting with Chronic Disease Management and preventative health initiatives

• Immunisations and vaccinations

• Wound management

• Health assessments

• ECGs, spirometry and other clinical procedures

• Assisting GPs with procedures

• Infection control and treatment room management

• Patient education and health promotion

• General clinical nursing duties within a busy General Practice

About You

You are someone who enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and thrives in a collaborative team environment.

To be successful you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

• Previous experience in General Practice nursing (highly desirable)

• Experience preparing GP Management Plans (Care Plans) and Team Care Arrangements, or willingness to learn

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Current Working With Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

Experience using Best Practice clinical software would be advantageous but is not essential.
