Details: Infrastructure Canberra is looking for a strategic and collaborative leader to join the Program Delivery Office supporting the delivery of major transport and civil infrastructure projects across the Territory.

The role is responsible for leading infrastructure portfolio workforce planning, strategic program risk management, capability development and project assurance activities. Working across a diverse infrastructure portfolio, you will ensure delivery teams have the right skills, resources, systems and controls in place to achieve successful outcomes.

The successful applicant will bring experience in project or portfolio management environments, with a strong focus on workforce planning, risk management, governance and continuous improvement. You will be comfortable providing strategic advice to executives, influencing decision-making and driving organisational capability uplift across complex delivery programs.

Eligibility/Other requirements:

• A degree or diploma in Project Management, Human Resource Management, Business Management or a related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent experience is desirable .
• Demonstrated experience developing and leading project workforce planning and capability development initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in project or portfolio resource management, including demand forecasting, workforce allocation and capacity planning.
• Experience supporting the delivery of major infrastructure or capital works programs is highly desirable.

Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of 12 months with the possibility of permanency.

A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
