Property Manager

About the role
Due to growth, Shire Realty is seeking an experienced and dedicated Property Manager to join our Team. This is a full-time (Monday-Friday) role based on-site at our Castle Hill office.

What you'll be doing

• Managing day-to-day operations of residential properties including tenant relations, lease agreements, rent collection, rent reviews, lease renewals

• Conduct thorough tenant screening and implement rigorous tenancy vetting procedures to minimise risk and ensure quality occupancy

• Conducting ingoing, routine and outgoing property inspections, identifying maintenance needs and coordinating repairs with contractors

• Maintaining accurate property records, financial documentation and lease files in compliance with regulations

• Collecting rent payments and managing tenant accounts with professionalism and fairness

• Addressing tenant complaints and maintenance requests promptly and professionally

• Ensuring compliance with residential tenancy legislation, local council regulations and company policies

• Building and maintaining positive relationships with property owners, tenants and service providers

• NCAT applications and attendance; dispute resolution

What we're looking for

• Proven experience of 2-3 years in property management

• Strong knowledge of New South Wales residential tenancy laws and property management regulations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office applications

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties and competing priorities

• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and financial documentation

• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations with discretion

• A genuine commitment to providing quality customer service to tenants and property owners

• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between properties

• Must have Real Estate Class 2 Licence
