Domestic & Personal Care Assistant

Baldwin Living is seeking a compassionate and reliable Domestic & Personal Care Assistant to join our dedicated team in a rewarding retirement village environment.

Availability & Casual Opportunities

We are building a strong and reliable casual team and are looking for team members who are available across weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Casual employees play an important role in supporting our residents, with ongoing opportunities for shifts across the roster, including coverage for planned and unplanned needs. This is a great opportunity for those seeking flexibility while maintaining regular involvement in a supportive team environment.

All casual roles are paid in line with the relevant award, including casual loading and applicable penalty rates.

About the Role

You will:

• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, domestic tasks, mobility, meal preparation, and community participation
• Support residents with grooming, toileting, dressing, shopping and social engagement
• Assist with catering tasks, maintaining hygienic kitchen and dining areas.
• Basic cleaning of resident units, communal areas, and external spaces to a high standard
• Monitor residents’ needs, follow care plans, and report changes or concerns
• Maintain accurate communication and work cooperatively within a multi-disciplinary team
• Adhere to WHS, food safety, privacy, and aged care quality standards
• Be able to travel to Mona Vale, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Parking available and public transport at the door.

About You

You will bring:

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent
• Experience supporting older people
• Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a resident-focused mindset
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining safe and hygienic environments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work varied hours
• A current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• First Aid and kitchen/catering experience (desirable)
