Job Description

As a Chef, you will be responsible for:

* Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard.
* Assisting with daily kitchen operations and service.
* Following recipes, portion controls and presentation standards.
* Preparing ingredients and maintaining an organised and efficient workstation.
* Ensuring food quality, freshness and consistency throughout service.
* Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
* Assisting with stock control, ordering and minimising food wastage.
* Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
* Contributing ideas for menu development and daily specials.
* Following workplace health and safety procedures.

Skills & Experience Required

The successful candidate will have:

* Minimum 1 year of professional chef experience.
* Relevant commercial kitchen experience.
* Good knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required.
