Civil Designer | Brisbane

We are looking for a skilled Civil Designer to join our Civil and Water team at Bligh Tanner.

+ The Role

You’ll join an established team of designers within our broader Civil + Water group of more than 20 engineers and designers. We’ll support your growth through exposure to a wide range of complex and engaging projects, spanning civil infrastructure, urban development, and parks, recreation and public space projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Concept, preliminary and detailed design of civil works
• Detailed design of earthworks, erosion and sediment control, roads, drainage, water and sewer infrastructure
• Preparation of schedules of quantities
• Producing high quality design documentation as part of a collaborative team
• Providing technical support to the civil design and drafting team

+ What we'd like

• Experience in road/civil infrastructure design (4 years minimum)
• Strong skills using AutoCAD software packages
• Intermediate Civil design skills and experience using the 12D Model software
• Good technical ability with SEQ codes and standards
• Excellent communication and computer skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Relevant tertiary qualifications are required (associate degree or higher)
