About The Lion

The Lion is no ordinary local. Beginning life as The Lion Brewery and Malthouse in 1870, the venue has evolved from a Victorian brewery to a legendary live-music destination and the lively North Adelaide hotel it is today.

With an award-winning restaurant, bustling bistro, garden bar, functions, live entertainment and a dedicated wine room, there’s always something happening. We’re proud of our history, passionate about great hospitality and focused on giving every guest a reason to return.

What you’ll be doing

• Welcoming guests and making them feel at home
• Serving delicious food, coffee, wine, beer and cocktails
• Working across our restaurant, bistro, bar and function spaces
• Taking orders and processing payments
• Keeping service areas clean, organised and ready for action
• Working with a fun, energetic team during busy services
• Helping turn an ordinary visit into a great Lion story

Who we’re looking for

You’ll fit right in if you:

• Bring a positive attitude and plenty of personality
• Genuinely enjoy meeting and looking after people
• Work well in a busy, fast-moving environment
• Are reliable, organised and a great team player
• Can work evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
• Have hospitality experience—or the enthusiasm to learn
