Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Service: Prepare, cook, and present dishes consistently and to a high standard, even during peak service times.

Station Management: Run your designated section efficiently, ensuring smooth workflow and communication with the rest of the kitchen brigade.

Quality Control: Maintain strict quality control measures, ensuring all food leaving the kitchen meets our presentation and taste standards.

Hygiene & Safety: Adhere strictly to all food safety, sanitation, and OHS guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.

Supervise, train and support kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.

What We Are Looking For

Experience: Proven experience working as a Chef in a fast-paced, high-volume commercial kitchen or restaurant environment.

Qualifications: Relevant commercial cookery qualifications (Certificate III or equivalent) are highly regarded.

Skills: Strong knife skills, a solid understanding of various cooking techniques, and the ability to follow recipes accurately.

Attitude: A team player with a positive attitude, resilience during busy services, and a genuine passion for food.

Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible roster, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays as required by the hospitality industry.
