Cleaner and Kitchen Hand - Metro and Regional

We are currently seeking dependable and hardworking Cleaners and Kitchen Hands to join our team across Perth metro and regional Western Australia.
This job advertisement is for candidates interested in either Cleaner roles, Kitchen Hand roles, or both, depending on experience, availability, and facility requirements.
The role is suitable for candidates who are reliable, well-presented, safety-focused, and able to work in fast-paced aged care or healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning Duties:

• Perform general cleaning duties across facility areas
• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, kitchens, and service areas
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for residents, clients, staff, and visitors
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
• Follow infection control, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures
• Report hazards, maintenance issues, or concerns to the relevant supervisor

Kitchen Hand Duties:

• Support kitchen operations with food preparation assistance, dishwashing, and cleaning
• Assist with meal service preparation and kitchen set-up
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, utensils, and storage areas
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and infection control procedures
• Assist with stock rotation and safe food handling where required
• Work cooperatively with chefs, cooks, care staff, and facility teams

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience in cleaning, kitchen hand, hospitality, aged care, or healthcare environments is desirable
• Current National Police Check, valid within the last 12 months
• NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
• Food Handling certificate is desirable for kitchen hand roles
• Infection Control Training is desirable
• Current COVID-19 and influenza vaccination certificates, if required by the facility
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Availability for casual shifts, including mornings, afternoons, weekends, or regional placements
