Business Development Manager

As part of its continued growth, the business has developed an innovative new product that is now ready to scale nationally.

This is a newly created opportunity for an experienced BDM who enjoys hunting for new business, building lasting relationships, and making a genuine commercial impact. With a strong product already established and ambitious growth plans ahead, you'll have the autonomy to shape the future success of the business while building your own career.

About the role:

• Drive new business opportunities and grow the customer and licensee network across Australia.
• Identify, prospect and convert new customers through a mix of warm and cold business development.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using the CRM.
• Conduct product demonstrations and present tailored solutions to prospective customers.
• Support new licensees through onboarding and provide ongoing guidance to help maximise their success.
• Work closely with the marketing team to execute local marketing initiatives.
• Manage the end-to-end sales process, including customer engagement, order processing and ongoing relationship management.
• Travel as required to meet prospective customers and support existing licensees.

About you:

• Minimum 3-5+ years' experience in business development or sales.
• Experience within the building, architectural, construction or related industries is essential.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and provide practical solutions.
• Confident working autonomously with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Someone who enjoys working in a growing business where you can make a genuine impact.
