To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
Degree or Associate Diploma in Medical Records Administration or Health Information Management or other relevant health related qualification and /or experience relevant to the role.
Describe your qualifications and extensive clinical coding experience, including your knowledge and application of ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACS standards. Provide examples of complex coding scenarios you have managed and explain how you ensured coding accuracy, consistency, and compliance with national standards.
Provide an example of a clinical coding audit, quality improvement initiative, or education program that you have led or significantly contributed to. Describe the issue identified, your approach, the outcomes achieved, and how results were communicated and implemented.
Demonstrate your understanding of casemix measurement systems and Activity Based Funding within a hospital environment. Include examples of how you have used patient administration systems, databases (including MS Access or similar), and reporting tools to support coding performance, data quality, or funding outcomes.
Provide an example that demonstrates your ability to effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders while managing competing priorities in a demanding healthcare environment. How did you organise your workload, meet deadlines, and achieve a successful outcome?
