Project Engineer (Civil)

Golding is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer (Civil) to join our team in the Bowen Basin on the newly awarded Moranbah North Rail Diversion Project.   This major civil and rail infrastructure project includes rail formation, bulk earthworks, water pipeline relocation, bridge construction, level crossings, drainage structures and pavement works.

Working on a 9:5 roster (with travel in work time), you will play a key role in delivering this significant project while enjoying competitive remuneration, site uplifts, Brisbane flights, accommodation and meals.

About the Project

The Moranbah North Rail Diversion Project includes:

• Construction of 10.8km of rail formation and Rail Maintenance Access Road (RMAR).

• Bulk earthworks, topsoil management, capping and pavement works totalling more than 540,000m³.

• Relocation of a 9km water pipeline and installation of significant underground services, including CSR, conduits and pits.

• Delivery of key infrastructure including a 3-span bridge, 5 level crossings, 200 mast foundations, culverts and service relocation structures.

• 7km of fencing and 113 hectares of clearing and grubbing.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage engineering and construction activities to achieve project objectives.

• Monitor project programs, resources and performance to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective delivery.

• Build strong relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, suppliers and subcontractors.

• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental and safety requirements, while maintaining accurate project reporting.

• Support the successful delivery of earthworks, pavements, structures, services and rail infrastructure works.

Key Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

• Experience delivering large-scale civil, mining infrastructure, rail, transport or bulk earthworks projects.

• Strong technical, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Sound knowledge of civil construction methodologies, project controls and contract delivery.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Commitment to safety, quality and environmental excellence.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SureTrak/Primavera and AutoCAD.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to changing project requirements.
