Registered Practice Nurse

Doctors @ Tocumwal is seeking a motivated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care and committed to excellence in general practice.

Our registered nurses are well supported and encouraged through onsite coaching and training. We provide excellent working environments with well renumerated positions.

The successful candidate must:
- Be a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration, and other relevant certifications.
- Have a strong work ethic.
- Be enthusiastic, reliable and flexible with a positive outlook.
- Enjoy working within a team environment and independently.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong patient-focused approach in service provision.
- Have ability to prioritise, organise and multitask.
- Be able to learn fast, work under pressure and be willing to learn on the job.

This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who enjoys variety in their work and values being part of a collaborative rural medical practice. The role includes:

• GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP)
• Health Assessments and Preventive Health Care
• Immunisations (childhood & adult)
• Wound care and treatment room duties
• Assisting with minor procedures
• Contributing to quality improvement activities

Work Days:

• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Pay: From $48.00 per hour
