About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Club Manager to lead our Snap Fitness facility in Bomaderry. This is a flexible full-time position that plays a crucial role in the success and profitability of the club. As Club Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of club operations, from member management and staff supervision to financial performance and facility maintenance. You will be the driving force behind creating a positive member experience whilst ensuring the club runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day club operations, including staff scheduling, performance management, and training to ensure high service standards

• Develop and implement strategies to increase membership, retention, and member satisfaction

• Monitor financial performance, including revenue targets, expense management, and budgeting to drive club profitability

• Ensure the facility, equipment, and grounds are maintained to the highest standards and in compliance with health and safety regulations

• Lead member acquisition campaigns and promotional activities to grow the club's customer base

• Handle member concerns and complaints professionally, ensuring resolution and maintaining positive relationships

• Recruit, train, and develop a motivated fitness team, including personal trainers and front-desk staff

• Conduct regular facility audits and maintain detailed records of operations and maintenance

• Liaise with Snap Fitness head office to report on club performance and implement company policies and procedures

• Identify business development opportunities and implement initiatives to improve club performance and revenue streams

What we're looking for

Proven experience in fitness club or recreation facility management, ideally within a franchise environment

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team

• Excellent financial management capabilities, including budget planning, P&L analysis, and revenue forecasting

• Demonstrated sales and marketing experience with a track record of increasing membership and revenue

• Outstanding customer service mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Knowledge of health and safety compliance, fitness industry regulations, and member engagement best practices

• Proficiency in using club management software and Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to work full-time on-site, including flexibility for evening and weekend shifts as required

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently whilst working collaboratively with the broader team

• Relevant qualifications in management, business administration, or fitness industry certifications are advantageous
