Job Description:An opportunity exists for a commercially astute, high-calibre individual to join our team in Perth. In this role, you will utilise your background in mining engineering, geology, metallurgy or other technical discipline, together with your superior financial modelling capabilities and commercial acumen, in the execution of transactions across the mining sector.
Successful individuals will enjoy end-to-end exposure to transactions and will develop strong transaction origination and execution skills.
This role will suit an individual with a background in mining engineering, geology, metallurgy or other technical discipline, currently working in industry, finance, government, advisory services or other relevant background.
Required skills and experience:Qualifications in mining engineering, geology, metallurgy or other technical discipline.Strong analytical, problem solving, research and numeracy skills (financial modelling experience essential);Strong communication and presentation skills, with the role offering substantial interface with clients, other advisers and across the business. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential;A strong track record in managing multiple workstreams and prioritising tasks to execute on key deliverables;Ability to work independently and have high integrity and experience working on confidential / sensitive matters;Superior interpersonal and relationship building skills; andThe drive to deliver successful outcomes for your client.
