• Financing the development of battery metals projects – for example, arranging over A$800 million in debt and equity funding to support the development of Pilbara Minerals’ Pilgangoora lithium-tantalum project in Western Australia;
• Over $750M in development financings in 2026 for precious metals projects (eg. Rox Resources, Brightstar Resources, Boab Metals)

• Financing new technologies – for examples, we arranged A$110 million in pre-IPO funding for TrueGreen Mobility, one of the largest suppliers of electric buses and electric light commercial vehicles in Australia.

An opportunity exists for a commercially astute, high-calibre individual to join our team in Perth. In this role, you will utilise your background in mining engineering, geology, metallurgy or other technical discipline, together with your superior financial modelling capabilities and commercial acumen, in the execution of transactions across the mining sector.

Successful individuals will enjoy end-to-end exposure to transactions and will develop strong transaction origination and execution skills.

This role will suit an individual with a background in mining engineering, geology, metallurgy or other technical discipline, currently working in industry, finance, government, advisory services or other relevant background.

Required skills and experience:

• Qualifications in mining engineering, geology, metallurgy or other technical discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, research and numeracy skills (financial modelling experience essential);
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the role offering substantial interface with clients, other advisers and across the business. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential;
• A strong track record in managing multiple workstreams and prioritising tasks to execute on key deliverables;
• Ability to work independently and have high integrity and experience working on confidential / sensitive matters;
• Superior interpersonal and relationship building skills; and
• The drive to deliver successful outcomes for your client.
