This high-performing team of financiers are renowned for their work across battery metals, precious metals, transformational acquisitions and innovative financing structures.

The opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to transition from a technical discipline into corporate finance. As Senior Associate, you will draw on your mining expertise alongside financial modelling and commercial analysis in the execution of live transactions for clients in the resources sector.

You will gain valuable experience on end-to-end deal exposure, direct engagement with clients and senior advisers, and a clear pathway to developing origination and execution capability.

About you

You are a technically trained mining professional ready to apply your expertise in a transaction environment. You will bring:

• Qualifications in mining engineering, geology, metallurgy or a related technical discipline
• Post graduate quals (or working towards) CFA, Master's Applied Finance or Financial Modelling Certificates etc.
• Experience gained in the mining industry, finance or advisory
• Financial modelling capabilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Sound commercial judgement
• The capacity to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure
