We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team. In this role, you will manage billing, collections, receipting, reconciliations, and customer enquiries while helping maintain strong financial processes across the School.

Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the School's accounts receivable function, ensuring accurate billing, timely collection of fees, and exceptional service to our families and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the School's accounts receivable function, including fee billing, receipting, debtor management and collections.

• Respond to account enquiries and work with families to resolve billing issues professionally and efficiently.

• Perform account reconciliations, maintain accurate debtor records and support month-end and year-end reporting.

• Contribute to process improvements and support the broader Finance team as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Experience in accounts receivable, billing, debtor management and collections.

• Experience using accounting systems, with strong Microsoft Office skills, including intermediate Excel.

• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment.

• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and handle sensitive matters professionally.
