Factory Hand

About the role

A full-time role is now available at Summers Engineering for a Factory Hand, located in Brookvale, NSW.

What you'll be doing

• Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift

• Manual handling materials on/off pallets, skids, etc

• Identifying, processing and tagging material ready for machining

• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

• Cabinet blasting machined components

• Performing general preventative maintenance tasks to machinery and equipmeent

• Packaging finished parts

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Factory Hand or in a similar manufacturing role

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and procedures

• Good physical fitness and the capability to perform manual handling tasks

• A commitment to workplace health and safety

• A team-oriented mindset and the ability to work collaboratively

About you

• Current forklift and drivers licsense is essential

• Previous warehouse and forklift experience required

• Previous expenerience working in a manufacturing factory is preferred

• Physical fitness with ability to perform manual handling tasks

• Reliability with strong work ethic & team player attitude

• Ability to follow instructions accurately + apply safe work practices.
