Full-Time Receptionist - Psychology Practice

We’re an established and growing psychology practice looking for a warm, capable and motivated receptionist to join our team full-time.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves reception and client service, but is also looking for a role they can grow into over time. As our practice continues to grow, we see this position developing into a more senior reception role, with opportunities to support and guide other members of the reception team.

Our reception team is the foundation of our business and plays an incredibly important role in the experience our clients and clinicians have with MPP.

This is a full-time position, working across both our Birtinya & Sippy Downs locations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing warm, professional and responsive client service

• Answering incoming calls and managing email correspondence

• Completing new client intakes and helping clients navigate the first steps in accessing psychological services

• Managing clinician diaries and appointments

• Processing Medicare, private health fund and third-party billing

• Managing medical reports and administrative correspondence

• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our practices

• Building strong working relationships with our psychologists and reception team

• Contributing to a positive, supportive and professional team culture

Importantly, we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us. As you develop your knowledge of MPP and our systems, there will be opportunities to take on greater responsibility within the reception team, including supporting and guiding other reception staff and helping maintain consistent reception processes and standards.

You’ll be someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in doing things well. You’re warm and approachable with clients, organised behind the scenes, and comfortable taking initiative when something needs to be done.

• Experience in medical, psychology or allied health reception would be highly regarded, but isn’t essential
