Accounts Payable

Warrikal is seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our Finance team based in West Perth. This is a hands-on opportunity for a motivated finance professional to support the day-to-day delivery of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable across the business.
Working within a collaborative and fast-paced finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions efficiently and ensuring suppliers and customers receive timely and accurate service. You will also contribute to month-end activities, reconciliations and continuous improvement across our finance processes.


About the Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day processing of accounts payable and receivable activities, supporting month-end close and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and accurately code supplier invoices, ensuring correct matching to purchase orders and receipts.
• Maintain vendor accounts and prepare payment runs in line with Warrikal’s payment terms.
• Investigate and resolve invoice, purchase order, billing and account discrepancies, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Generate and issue customer invoices in line with contractual and project requirements.
• Allocate and receipt customer payments, maintain accurate account records and monitor outstanding balances.
• Follow up overdue accounts and support debtor ageing and collection reporting.
• Assist with month-end activities, including AP and AR reconciliations, accruals and close processes.
• Support employee expense reconciliations, finance queries, process improvements and other ad-hoc finance activities.

About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will ideally have:

• 1-2 years' experience in an accounts or finance role.
• Experience across Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Pronto experience is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to working within a team.
