SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – BRISBANE CBD – RESPECTED BUSINESS ADVISORY FIRM – HYBRID FLEXIBILITY (JOB ID 914)

The Role: 

• Work with Managers and Directors to manage and support client relationships  

• Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS and general compliance work  

• Assist with business structuring and advisory-related assignments  

• Support tax planning and provide input on client advisory matters  

• Lead and mentor junior accountants and support their development  

• Contribute to internal training and knowledge sharing initiatives  

• Ensure high-quality delivery across compliance and advisory engagements  

• Work across a diverse portfolio of SMEs, trusts, companies and individuals  

About You: 

• CA qualified or currently working towards completion  

• 4+ years of strong experience in Australian public practice (Senior Accountant level) 

• Solid understanding of Australian tax legislation across multiple entities  

• Ability to prepare financial accounts for SME and owner-managed businesses  

• Strong communication skills with confidence in client-facing work  

• Proven ability to mentor or guide junior team members  

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and time management  

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems (Xero/other practice tools advantageous)
