SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – TAX & BUSINESS SERVICES - GOLD COAST / HYBRID - HIGH-GROWTH MODERN ADVISORY FIRM (JOB ID 869)

Our client is a fast-growing Gold Coast accounting and advisory firm known for its modern, cloud-based systems, strong SME client relationships and practical, outcomes-focused advice. This is a great opportunity for a motivated Senior Accountant looking to step beyond compliance and develop their advisory capability within a supportive, high-performing team. 

The Role: 

• Work across a diverse portfolio of SME clients, delivering both compliance and advisory services 

• Preparation of financial statements, tax returns and BAS for a range of entity structures  

• Assisting with business advisory reporting including cashflow forecasting and management reporting  

• Supporting tax planning, structuring and strategic advisory work for clients  

• Assisting with client meetings and ongoing relationship management  

• Reviewing work and mentoring junior accountants where required  

• Be supported by experienced managers and directors 

• Working closely with managers across a varied client portfolio  

About You: 

• 4+ years’ experience in public practice accounting  

• Strong experience preparing financial statements, tax returns and BAS end-to-end  

• Solid understanding of tax, GST and Division 7A  

• Exposure to or interest in business advisory and tax planning  

• Strong communication skills with confidence in client interaction  

• Experience with Xero and/or QuickBooks  

• Proactive, organised and motivated to develop your advisory capability
