This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join their Southport office, managing a diverse portfolio of SME and individual clients while providing strategic and technical support, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to a high-performing, positive team culture. 

The Role:  

• Lead the delivery of accounting and taxation services for a portfolio of privately owned businesses and individual clients  

• Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns and statutory compliance requirements across multiple entity types  

• Partner with clients to provide proactive tax planning and business advisory support 

• Act as a trusted client contact, delivering practical advice and exceptional service  

• Manage client deadlines, workflow priorities and engagement performance  

• Drive improvements in systems, processes and service delivery standards  

• Review work prepared by junior staff and provide ongoing coaching and technical support  

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of taxation legislation and emerging compliance developments  

• Leverage modern technology platforms to enhance efficiency, collaboration and client outcomes 

About You: 

• CA or CPA qualified 

• 4+ years’ Australian public practice accounting experience 

• Strong technical tax, compliance, and advisory capability 

• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills 

• Experience with Xero and cloud-based accounting platforms 

• Proactive, solutions-focused, and team-oriented mindset 

• Strong workflow and time management capability
