Working closely with Principals and Managers, this role offers broad exposure across tax compliance, advisory, mentoring and business growth strategies, making it ideal for an ambitious accountant who wants to build trusted client relationships while progressing their long-term career in public practice. 

The Role: 

• Manage end-to-end tax compliance for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies and SMSFs  

• Prepare financial statements, tax returns and compliance documentation across diverse entity structures  

• Work closely with Principals and Managers to deliver value-added accounting and advisory services  

• Liaise directly with clients to build strong professional relationships  

• Review client structures and assist with taxation planning and advisory  

• Monitor Key Performance Indicators and contribute to client goal-setting strategies  

• Identify business growth opportunities for clients through proactive support  

• Mentor and support graduate and junior accountants  

• Manage your own portfolio while contributing to broader team success  

About You: 

• Minimum 4+ years’ Australian public practice accounting experience  

• Strong tax compliance capability across multiple entity structures  

• Familiarity with current Australian tax legislation  

• Ability to manage a client portfolio with confidence  

• Previous mentoring or team support capability  

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills  

• Strong initiative, professionalism and self-confidence  

• Highly organised with strong analytical and problem-solving skills  

• Proficiency in Handisoft, MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero and Microsoft Office  

• Passion for client success and long-term professional growth
