Position: Assistant Accountant Intern - Internship in Perth, WA

DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant Intern to join our clients dynamic team for a 3-month internship. This role offers a valuable opportunity for recent graduates or current students pursuing a degree in Accounting to gain hands-on experience in the hospitality industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Contribute to ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or a related field
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

DURATION:

This is a 3-month internship with the possibility of extension based on performance and company needs.
