About the role
About the role:
The City of Swan operates an extensive security system to protect its people, assets and community. The Security Technician works on a permanent full-time basis and is responsible for completing the breakdown repair and preventative maintenance of security equipment in accordance with the security services maintenance programs across a large and diverse network. This includes the completion of inspections, audits and testing. Responsibilities include:
The system products currently in use by the City are Genetec (CCTV), AXIS Cameras, the Integriti Access Control and Intrusion Detection system and a variety of mobile CCTV infrastructure. The incumbent is required to be suitably licensed and experienced to ensure the operational integrity and continuity of service of the City’s security systems.

The salary for this position will be from $87,442.94 - $103,792.55 per annum, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
