Wholesale & Customer Operations Coordinator

About the role

Working closely with our founder, you will become a key point of contact for Fledge & Thread's wholesale retailers and customers. You will manage and develop existing wholesale relationships, identify opportunities to grow our retail network and confidently engage with store owners, managers and buyers both over the phone and in person. During key wholesale ordering periods, the role will have a strong focus on wholesale account management, retailer communication, new business development and order coordination. Outside these periods, your responsibilities will broaden across customer service, e-commerce and operational support.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing wholesale retailers

• Proactively contact retailers to support seasonal ordering, reorders and ongoing account development

• Identify and approach suitable new wholesale stockists

• Follow up wholesale enquiries, referrals and trade-show leads

• Confidently speak with store owners, managers and buyers by phone, email and in person

• Support retailers with product selection, range planning and merchandising opportunities

• Process and coordinate wholesale orders accurately

• Manage retailer onboarding, account information and wholesale records

• Respond to online customer enquiries and provide an excellent customer experience

• Manage returns, exchanges, delivery enquiries and other customer issues

About you

• Previous experience in retail, wholesale, account management, customer experience, sales operations or e-commerce

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills

• Confidence communicating by phone and engaging with customers, store managers, owners and buyers in person

• A proactive approach to developing new business and strengthening existing accounts

• Excellent organisation and attention to detail

• The ability to prioritise your own workload and work autonomously

• Strong follow-up skills

• Confidence using spreadsheets, databases and online business systems

• Experience with Shopify or a similar e-commerce platform would be advantageous

• Visual merchandising or retail merchandising experience would be highly regarded
