Treatment Coordinator

About the role

Located between our Noosa and Nambour clinics, the Treatment Coordinator helps patients and treatment plans move efficiently through the orthodontic process. The role combines patient communication, clinical records and treatment-planning administration. Clinical diagnosis and treatment decisions remain the responsibility of the orthodontist.

This is a flexible, part-time role and is not part of the regular clinical staffing roster. Hours may vary according to consultation schedules, treatment-planning workload, records and patient follow-up. The focus is on keeping patients and treatment plans moving efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Support new patients and families through consultations and help explain the orthodontist's recommendations clearly.

• Answer appropriate treatment-related questions and follow up patients who have not yet proceeded.

• Take accurate intraoral 3D scans and clinical photographs.

• Ensure records are complete, clear and correctly uploaded, and repeat or update them when needed.

• Monitor online and digital treatment-plan submissions and check for returned plans, updates or requests.

• Bring returned plans promptly back to the orthodontist's attention and follow up outstanding actions.

• Keep each case moving with a clear next step, coordinating with reception or clinical staff when needed.

About you

• Practical dental or orthodontic clinical experience.

• Competence in intraoral scanning and clinical photography.

• Good understanding of orthodontic terminology, appliances and treatment processes.

• Strong communication, organisation, follow-up and digital skills.

• Able to work independently, take ownership and keep cases moving.
