About the role:

This role sits within a highly regarded Corporate M&A team and is suited to a lawyer who wants to be close to the action, not stuck in the background.

You can expect to work across:

• Private equity investments and exits.
• Public and private mergers and acquisitions.
• Growth capital and minority investments.
• General corporate advisory matters.
• Transaction documents, due diligence and negotiation processes.
• Managing multiple work streams across fast-moving transactions.
• Working directly with Partners, senior lawyers, clients and broader deal teams.
• You will be given early responsibility, direct client exposure and the chance to build strong technical and commercial skills within a collaborative, high-calibre team environment.

The ideal candidate:

• 3-4 years’ post-qualification experience in Corporate M&A.
• Exposure to private equity transactions would be highly regarded.
• Strong drafting, transactional and matter management skills.
• Confident managing competing work streams and tight deadlines.
• Commercial, proactive and solution-focused in your approach.
• Strong communicator who can build trust with clients and colleagues.
• Collaborative, organized and comfortable taking ownership of your work.
• Genuine interest in client relationships and the long-term growth of the practice.
