About the role:

This role would suit a Corporate Senior Associate who wants direct Partner access, premium clients and a visible role within a strong Melbourne corporate team.

You can expect to work across:

• Public and private M&A transactions.
• Acquisitions, disposals and capital raisings.
• Private equity and venture capital matters.
• Investment funds work.
• Corporate governance, foreign investment and broader advisory work.
• Due diligence, transaction documents and matter management.

You will work closely with respected Partners and senior lawyers while building the technical, client and commercial skills needed to progress.

The ideal candidate:

• 4+ years’ PQE in corporate law from a strong private practice team.
• Strong drafting, legal due diligence and transaction management skills.
• Experience reviewing, negotiating and drafting corporate and commercial documents.
• Commercially minded, practical and confident working directly with clients.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Collaborative, hands-on and keen to develop within a growing Melbourne corporate team.
