Senior Production Estimator / Team Leader

We're looking for an experienced Senior Production Estimator who enjoys the technical side of estimating and takes pride in delivering accurate, well-considered work. 

  This is an opportunity to join a well-established residential builder, based in Hamilton with a strong reputation and a secure pipeline of work.  They are doing around 400 individual homes & terraces per year. 

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you'll play an important role in maintaining production workflows, supporting offshore estimating resources (who look after investment homes) and ensuring pricing information remains accurate and up to date. Prepare accurate production estimates for residential homes.

• Review and verify production estimates completed by the offshore estimating team.
• Maintain and update DataBuild & Framework, estimating databases and pricing information.
• Manage variation pricing (VPB) and ensure estimating data remains current and accurate.
• Provide technical support and guidance to local and offshore estimators.
• Work closely with the Estimating Manager to maintain workflow and meet production deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to improve estimating systems, processes and efficiencies.
• Liaise with drafting, construction and internal stakeholders to resolve estimating queries.
• Ensure all estimates are completed in accordance with company standards and timeframes.

The role is paying 130K + super and once establish allows some flexiblity for hybrid work.  There is parking close to the office, and the office is modern and in total there is around 50 people in the office.
