Job description

We are looking for a passionate and motivated full-time Chef. We are offering an immediate start for the right person with no evening working hours.
The Zouki Group is a national privately owned company running Cafes located within major hospitals across Australia. Zouki prides itself in providing high quality food and service.

Job Benefits

• Predominantly Monday to Friday, 8 hour shift & some weekend work is required

• Morning hours

Responsibilities

• Follow the food preparation process and any other relative activities as per the guidelines

• Follow rotational menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety, quality and portion sizes of the servings

• Prepare and “polish” dishes before they reach the customer

• Maintain high standards in organising and keeping the stations clean at all times

• Maintain HACCP records

• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

• Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers

Requirements and skills

• At least 1 year of experience in the similar role

• Manage to cook dishes by following recipes in timely manner

• Good communication skills

• Knowledge of international cuisines and ability to follow recipes

• Experience to work with modern kitchen equipment

• Culinary related education or certificate

• Vaccinated against Covid 19
