Dental Receptionist/ Assistant

At North Sydney Dentistry, we are dedicated to providing high-quality dental care in a warm and welcoming environment. We believe that a positive patient experience begins with our front desk team, and we are currently seeking a casual Dental Receptionist to join our growing practice.

Casual Dental Receptionist/ Assistant (3 days/ week)

About the role- 

Dental Receptionist/ Assistant. 

This position will be cross-trained for both administrative and nursing roles. 

Patient Greeting: Welcome patients with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued when they walk through the door.

Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently manage the appointment schedule, confirming and scheduling patient appointments, and coordinating with the clinical team.

Patient Check-In/Check-Out: Check-in patients, verify insurance information, and process patient check-outs, including handling billing and payment processing.

Phone and Email Communication: Handle incoming phone calls and emails, answering patient inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service.

Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient records, including updating personal and insurance information.

Office Organization: Keep the front desk area organized and presentable, ensuring a professional and inviting environment.

Team Support: Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and seamless patient flow, helping wherever needed.

Clinical work: Chair-side assisting dentists with various dental treatments.

Sterilisation: process and decontaminated clinical instruments and environment. 

About you: 

• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and willing to learn attitudes

• A proven track record of punctuality and reliability

• We welcome constructive feedback and suggestions from you.

• Ability to work alone as well as being a team player

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience in Dental 4 Window but not essential.
