Dental Assistant

At Hornsby Dental, we are dedicated to providing high-quality dental care in a warm and welcoming environment. We believe that a positive patient experience begins with our front desk team, and we are currently seeking a casual Dental Receptionist to join our growing practice.

One position available: 

Casual or Part-Time - Dental Assistant/ Receptionist 2-3 days/week (Fridays and another day of your choice). This position is perfect for a university student!

About the role- 

Dental Assistant. 

Patient Greeting: Welcome patients with a warm, friendly demeanour, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued as they walk through the door.

Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient records, including updating personal and insurance information.

Office Organisation: Keep the front desk area organised and presentable, ensuring a professional and inviting environment.

Team Support: Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient, seamless patient flow, assisting wherever needed.

Clinical work: Chair-side assisting the dentist with various dental treatments.

Sterilisation: Process and decontaminate clinical instruments and the environment. 

Laboratory work: Pouring and making study models and custom patient trays. 

About you: 

• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and willing to learn attitudes

• A proven track record of punctuality and reliability

• We welcome constructive feedback and suggestions from you.

• Ability to work alone as well as being a team player

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
